Drums Practice

Dear boys,

Drums practice this week will be today (Wednesday, 28/3/07) at 3.30pm and tentatively Friday (30/3/07) at 3pm. If Mr Yaziz finds it necessary for Friday practice, then we will have it on Friday. If not, practice for this week will be today only.

Currently, we are practising for our upcoming performance on 8th April 2007 at NAFA.

Other upcoming performances include Singapore Arts Fest on 1st & 2nd June and Awards Day in July.

Please ensure that you attend practice regularly. Those who do not may not be consider to perform.

Performance@Downtown East

We were invited by NYGHS to perform for their Lifeskills Camp. Malay Extravaganza was the name of the event. The objectives were to introduce to the students about Malay Culture. We perform our traditional drums as well as the Samba rythm. Den we got to see a demo on how to eat with our hands (the Malay way). We also got to see fashion show and Malay dance.

We have to interact with the girls and show them how to eat according to our customs. We really had a great time and it was a memorable experience!
